[First Blog] I'm So Over Drama!
High School Never Ends. No truer words have ever been spoken. How is it that I manage to be this supporting/recurring character in this high school drama when I'm not even in high school anymore? You want me to explain? Okay! Where the hell to start...?
So, I have this... sort of ex-girlfriend type person in my life. We've never dated but we did everything couples did(right down to the hand-holding in the mall and ILYs). After a while we just stopped doing those things and now we're just good friends. Gravy. Anyway, I graduated high school two years ago(I swear it feels like just yesterday I was freshman!). She's a senior in high school now. That's pretty much my relationship with this girl and our history.
Recently, I've bumped into my other ex-girlfriend(who is now BFFs with my brother's ex-girlfriend). We laughed and talked. My brother's ex-girlfriend is going to prom with my brother and she thought it would be a good idea if I take my ex-girlfriend to prom because the guy who she dumped me for isn't allowed to be with her(he's an ass and her parents don't like him). I said I wasn't going until she asks me. Lo and behold, she asked me. Oh... great!
Here's the funny thing. My sort of ex-girlfriend is going to that exact same prom with her current boyfriend. Her current boyfriend doesn't like me because he thinks we still have a no-strings attached relationship. We don't. Well... we didn't until today.
She got a new car and the first person she comes to see is me. I'm on the roof of the house, relaxing, and she climbs up. I don't know if it's just me but there's something romantic about roofs. We ended up kissing and stuff. And then AFTER the whole roof situation, she finds out from my brother's ex-girlfriend(who just so happens to be her friend too) that I'm going to the prom with my ex-girlfriend and now she's mad at me even though I'm not with her and the BOTH of them have boyfriends.
My ex-girlfriend(not the rooftop one) finds out about the roof and now she's mad. WHY?! Does she not have a fucking boyfriend who she dumped me for two years ago(and she didn't even have the balls to tell me the truth. She gave me the whole "It's not you, it's me" speech. Bitch.)? And after all the arguing we did, she still wants to go to prom with me. Drama will ensue!
