Officially, Diving Rocks my underwater world.

Alright, I'm going to try to explain how incredable and awesome night diving is.

Picture this, your underwater with torches and all decked out in SCUBA gear, and your group starts to slow down over a sandy patch. about two meters off the bottom, you stop and hover on the spot (takes some practice, but you use your ears and lungs). The torches go out. and you just sit there for about 5 minutes. Everybody is freaking out, I'm not sure why??? I lack this sorta fear thing. then your eyes adjust to the darkness. Everybody is perfectly still. Suddenly, Someone kicks, and there is a splash (for lack of a better word, explosion would almost work, though it was more beautiful than that) of luminescent algae and plankton that light up the disturbed water. You swim away from the others and as you swim your mask lights up with little tiny glowing particles. You leave a trail of light behind you and you stop again, and the water is churning with light and magic. slowly, the magic fades, and you move your hands wildly creating another churning sea of light and magic and shear beauty. A friend swims past, and the only way you can tell is by the fact that she is the only part of the water through which she is swimming that isn't lit up. I can barely describe how much like the matrix it looks like. It is by far one of the most amazing things that I have ever had happen to me. Ever.

It's one of those experiences that just changes you inside. gets you thinking about life. how small, and beautiful and powerful everything is. Even the smallest things on the planet, have the ability to light up the entire ocean.

Also, Diving in General Rocks.

and I didn't get to experience narcosis :(
