Things making me smile these days:
- driving down 696, singing my heart out on the way home from work
- looking into the car next to me and seeing someone else, stuck in traffic too, singing along with me
- being sore in all the right places after getting my ass kicked in Spinning class
- feeling a small sense of pride about Detroit as we vamp up for the Super Bowl
- thinking about that fact that all these stupid celebrities get stuck partying in Detroit this week
- knowing that tomorrow is the last day of January, and I finished the month kicking ass and taking names
- hearing Jon Stewart say, "underage asian beavers"
