Anyone who knows me knows i love elephants...
I woke up this morning to sad news. The baby elephant that was due any month/day now died while the mom was in labor. I was so excited about this and waited two years to see a baby elephant calf in rochester. I even was saving my free zoo passes to go see the calf when it was finally born. However a bit upsetting the whole situation is, the zoo is going foward with rebuilding a new area for the elephants there so thats good...
