cool, alright
So I inadvertently punched a rock today
well, actually it might have been a wooden plank, come to think of it.
I had to go into the Nature Preserve for my Animal Behavior Lab, and we were walking along planks of wood aligned in a railroad-track fashion. Apparently wood is more slippery than ice. Even with my hiking boots, I still fell; when I was wearing converse sneakers and walking on ice, I did not. Anyway, when I fell, instead of breaking my fall with a flat palm like a normal person, I failed to unclench my hand and broke my fall with my fist.

Also I had an interview on Thursday morning last week for the summer internship I applied for. It was in-person/conference call. I felt like it went really well. Then on Friday at noon I got a phone call telling me I'd been selected for the internship with the legal division of the N.Y.S. Department of Environmental Conservation. Upon completion of the phone call, I proceeded to sob hysterically in relief/happiness.
So yeah, I'll be starting Monday, May 23, at 9am. :) I'll be getting a $2500 stipend, and this is counting for 1 course credit. I'll have to write weekly reports or something, but whatever. I'm really excited for this experience. And with regard to the money, even if it's not much, it's something. Transportation is gonna cost me about $600 though. :( (prices have gone up since 2 summers ago)
In other news I'm taking the LSAT June 6th, which I just realized today is a Monday, go figure. Speaking of, I should probs start studying hardcore again. I also need to study for the quiz I have tomorrow morning though...and catch up with Envi Law readings. Meh. Okay I guess I'll start with the Envi Law. TTFN, ta ta for now
