One day, katancelt was complaining to her dear friend, bobtheslinky, about Jon, their mutual acquaintance. Witness excerpt:
BobtheSlinky: it would be fun and pathetic to keep track of how many times i check LJ a day
LunaCamilla: oh Lord. that'd be more pathetic than fun
LunaCamilla: i check it a billion times a day
LunaCamilla: i'm tryin got make jonathan get one
LunaCamilla: i think i'm making progress
LunaCamilla: but he hasn't imed me back in...half an hour.
BobtheSlinky: he already has a BJ
BobtheSlinky: which he NEVER updates
LunaCamilla: i know. but he needs an lj!
LunaCamilla: so he can read my friended stuff so my life is easier
LunaCamilla: when i don't have to tell him stuff i've already typed up
LunaCamilla: and there'd be more ppl to yell at him to update.
LunaCamilla: and lj is more addictive than bj
And so, under the duress of katancelt, bobtheslinky took it upon herself to create a journal for Jon. Katancelt then had fun messing with Jon's new Friend's list and creating monochromatic color schemes.
Actually, katancelt's color schemes are not monochromatic. They are in reality quite pleasing to the eye and appropriate for the lj friend in question. Clearly, such things are beyond the comprehension of certain people, but we won't get into that right now.
