directionless
the rules she's known disintegrate here
eradication of system
erasure of structure
extirpation of ideology
convolute mind's nexus

deafening absence, self-imposed, self-indulged
self destroyed.
and the soul knows not how to move
but flailing, she lets the panic ensue
until finding, her third eye's awakening
widening
stretching
expanding...

restraints bind within the world
unknowns truss without the world
but knowledge based on foundations of air
gain no foothold in shifting sands

tossed into the maelstrom of nothing
given the chance to recover redemption
she instead offers up her liberty
in return for the chains she knows

here, she is not abandoned
here, she is not pursued
here, she is not directionless

not understanding the depths of blue
she reaches for the sun, embraces it to her bosom

all the while dying with a foolish half-frown.

#2 -- (this cheesy poem is modeled after a Robert Frost work...all you non-English majors, figure it out! xD i had so much fun with this ^^)

Over the river and down by the hill
An apple pie sits on a window sill
The cook will not catch me stealing a whiff
Nor will he mind when I eat my fill.
My little dog jumps up and down
He cocks his ear and whimpers a frown
As if to ask what we are doing here
With someone else's pie so brown
He barks once, runs cross the brook
And points his nose at the pie I took
I quietly, quickly step after him
After I peer into the house for a look.
The river is blue, the hills so green
But this is only the beginning of spring
And I have slices of pie to bring
To my bride still slumbering within her dream.
