full weekend
Wow what a full weekend.
Friday I took off, but I promise you it wasn't really a day off. We had our tv interview in the morning, then I ran to Old Time Pottery to get Grogg bottles, a stop at Kroger, then home to work on the bathroom floor, then to my parents with dogface to make Grogg, then back to the house to put the bathroom together. Busted my butt and actually got a chance to take a much needed nap.
The party was a blast. House full of important people. Yay! Got henna in the gift exchange. Unfortunately, no matter how much I drank, I couldn't get drunk. Even a "crash course" by Loki and JDRIII last minute and tsill nothing. Damn Scottish tolerance. Stayed up with Loki, JDRIII, and J until almost 6a. It was about 6:30a when I finally got to bed.
Mom called at 9am. Sigh... and since we wanted to get to Bton at a decent time, I opted to not go back to sleep. Got in the shower, thayos came over, then the three of us piled in the car and drove to Bton. I updated my Dark Heresy character, and slept. Stopped by the huge-ass Big Red in town. Then went over to nekomata and dyrecorn 's house, then met up with drake_rocket , C, and D at the Irish Lion. Good times had. I love hanging with those silly people. :) Then off to party at danielmc 's. I don't know if it was the lack of sleep, the food, or me fighting off the death that has been circulating, but come 10:30ish I was not feeling very good. Went back to danielmc 's apartment and crashed. So lame. But hey when the body shuts down, the body shuts down.
Sunday woke up at 8:30 enjoyed an oober-omlette then off to Richmond for Dark Heresy. It was a great game and I got to use 2 of my new Physic Disciplines as well as 4 minor powers that I have yet to use. Bad was the fact that I rolled a 9 three times. Each time though, got not as bad, but the first time I caused everyone to get a corruption point (our tech priest got 10, Dave 8-9). eep. But we succeeded with the mission thanks to Dave's idea, and my ability to Dominate (mind control) the bosses lacky. Dominate comes in handy:) Unfortunately Dave lost his right arm in the scuffle, but in an age of mechanics and add-ons he should be fine. Got home at about 11:30 and shortly went to bed.
