a fun weekend.
Friday night after the haunt, we went over to the armory for their Halloween party. Lots of rum, good times, and lots of cards thrown about.
Slept in Saturday, played WoW with hubbin, did laundry, then went to the last night of the haunt. It was a quiet night, but got to hang out with Heather and J, and occasionally Danny, Ruffner, and hubbin. After the haunt Danny, J, Brandon and I stopped by to see Sparks at work, then headed to Applebees for afters.
Sunday, more laundry (washed blankets and such that have been down stairs for ever) and laid on the heating pad most of the day. Back was sitting at an uncomfortable 4 all day. grrr. Had plans to be productive, to clean the porch, pull in my potted clematis, and sweep the leaves out of the cuddle pit. sigh...oh well.
This week proves to be crazy busy, but need to make a decision. Auditions for Once Upon a Mattress are tonight and tomorrow. Part of me really wants to be in it. The other part doesn't want to put all the time into it. If I do audition, I will only except one role, but still. Sigh.... Due to the holidays, the rehearsal schedule is longer, 2 months. Dave is auditioning, as is Angie, and Bobby, and others I <3.
On one hand, I have always wanted to play this role and might be too old for it in a few years, love the show, would *love* to do a show with Angie, and with the adoption getting closer and closer, this might be my last opportunity for a show for awhile.
On the other hand, 2 months without a free night. That's enough there. But it will mean less time hanging out with friends, our home improvments nearly stopping, and....less time on WoW.
I'm not sure if I want talked into or talked out of auditioning. But if you've got opinions, please share.
