It was a ok weekend.
The haunt had it's fun parts and slow parts. Both nights I was on the bus (again grumble). First night with Sparks and some MHS kids. Things went really well. I sat in the driver seat and have nasty hallow eye cavity prosthetics on. Really, I was beautiful.
Saturday worked all day and was really quite bored. I was in the Story Teller tent all day, and got to listen to the same two stories for 6 hours. My only job was to stamp the kids' "passports" when the story was done. Whee! But it was a gorgeous day and I get to take friday off.
Then off to the haunt again. I opted to not wear the eyes (I got a headache the night before) and the crew on the bus was a little different, and not as scary. Did have Danny and J on top of the roof of the bus which was awesome. And one of those perfect moments when I was talking to James about Triumph (he also plays an elf) and he asked "So, Feanor mentioned having a Barbarian family. Where are these Barbarians?" and at that same moment, J jumped off the roof onto the hood of he bus. I laughed and pointed "There's one right now." Hanging out with the boys after in the garage, comparing J, Danny, and Ruffner's flashlights, hiding from being moshed (at least they didn't have armor on) and afters was a hoot and got to sit with ST, Danny, and J. I love those boys so much...they make me laugh.
Sunday slept in, went to Peanut's bday party, hung out afterwards with Jim, Amy, and Rob, then went home, cooked dinner, made smoothies for the week and played WoW.
This week is busy getting ready for the feast.

- Tonight I need to figure out a back-up plan for what to wear in case my dress (which I exchanged for a smaller size) doesn't get here in time. I think I have an idea, just need to take a look at adding sleeves.
- Need to write up my grocery list. Making a mushroom pie and a sausage pie, truffles, have to buy all of the drinks, and some decorations.
- Need to put together a playlist to play through my laptop and find someone who will let me borrow speakers for said laptop for the feast.
- Need to start cooking. Sparks is coming over Saturday to cook all day, but I would like to get the truffles done this week. Not sure how likely that is, but it's a goal.
- Need to figure out what ST and I are using for Feast ware
- I'm sure I"m forgetting ten bazillion things.
