Can I be done?
So I arrived today to Diane taking a phone registration which she gave me. 4 people registering, no big deal. Before I even had a chance to turn on my PC, another call, one more for the same class. Within the next 10 minutes, 4 more calls from the same center, each time a different teacher. The next call was from the asst. director. She wanted to sign-up for classes too. I explained that I this was the 6 call we had received from the center in the past 15 minutes and suggested in the future that they register on line or fax in a completed reg form. She apologized then continued to give me her registration. I gave her the website "www dot number 4 letter c f-o-r children dot org" and said goodbye (I was polite, don't worry).
Just got another call from the asst. director.
"Can I have your email address? I don't want to *bother* you and I want to see if a class is open."
I can help you what do you need?
"We've called 6 times today, I don't want to *bother* you, but the email you gave me doesn't work."
You mean the website?
"yes"
it is www dot number 4 letter c f-o-r children dot org
"right i go there and it says it's invalid"
(I repeat the site)
"yes, it doesn't work, so I guess we can't register.
let me help you, can you open a search engine?
"you mean like google?"
yes
(she types it in)
"it doesn't work"
(more trying to figure out why not, repeating the site a few times, it opens on my pc etc. finally after 5 minutes she repeats the site back to me but says f-o-u-r instead of f-o-r.)
