A truly nice weekend.
Friday Sparky came over and she and I both did some cleaning. Then we played RockBand and just hung out with Ryan, Danny, Amanda, Brandon, and Ruffner. Amanda and I snuck upstairs and redyed my hair (and inadvertently the floor) purple. It took this time and looks good. Probably could have had a few more streaks but I'm happy with it.
Saturday woke up early and went to Bella's Hanna Montana/Bowling Birthday Party. I walked around with the camera and took pictures of all the girls bowling. We also asked Bella if she wanted to be woodstock. After the excitement of the party settled and she remembered we asked her, she got really excited. After the party, we stopped by DLM for Sushi, Home Depot for an outdoor storage thing, I napped, Dave worked on Triumph, we ate Sushi, and then watched Babylon 5. I decided I needed to be productive after dinner, so I painted another window with the new greens. That now makes the front door and two front windows done and a little less icky 70's brown. At 10:30 we joined up with Ruffner, Brandon, and Amanda to see Dark Knight. Wow. My love affair with Bruce Wayne shall continue.
Sunday woke up and headed over to the Pressnell's for a day of hanging. Plans changed a bit as Lucas has chicken pox, but the nice lazy sunday was wonderful. We hung around and talked, drank yummy coffee, played with the kids, and Diana and I went out and brought back Chipotle and Coldstone for everyone (Yum!!!) Then we watched last week's So You Think You Can Dance (ST and I missed it) then watched Equilibrium (yay for a Christian Bale weekend). I really dug the movie and the choice of color and lighting. And of course the gun fights were sexy. yum. A wonderful day with the Pressnell's. need to schedule the next day together. We are all so busy. I am going to join Diana (and I think Tia) to work out Wednesday and this week Dave and I are going to join the Y.
