Well its officially 2004. Yay!
My resolutions:
1. Start my internet company (finally).
2. Work out with Ben.
3. Get a 3.5 GPA.
4. Trust in love.
5. Skydive.
6. Go on a 12+ hour video game binge (probably during the summer).
7. Stop overreacting because of my oversensitivity.
I think thats a pretty decent list. #4 is thanks to
kittygomeowr, and she is totally right. I think I'm worrying about it way too much. I'll just let things happen as they happen. After all, there isn't much I can do anyway! =P I don't think much of you know about #1. Well lemme explain:
I basically have a business ready to go. Yes, that is right. I would be CEO of my own company! Of course, it would be an internet company (a .com), so it doesn't say much. But hey, I could make it big (lol). Anyway, some of the biggest reasons I haven't launched it is because I don't have a name, I can't program java worth crap (Ben might work with me) and I don't have any funding for advertising. For the name, I need something future-edgy. Any ideas? =D What my "service" would do is build custom computers for people. I looked around and compared how much it costs me to build a computer to how much stores like Best Buy/Circuit City/Compaq/HP/Dell sells there computers. I can offer them at half their prices... and that is with a generous profit margin for me. ^^; Another big advantage is that it takes about 4-6 weeks for big companies to ship the final product. Well looking at ordering and building times, I could offer them within a week. Also! Since I would be small time, I could offer phone/email support. It would be awesome! Best part is, the only cost to me would be the domain name and server costs. That ends up being about $20-$30 a month. With my profit margin, I would only need to sell one computer every 3 months to break even. I dunno, I need to get with Ben. We'll see.
Anyway. I'm going to go to bed now. Merry New Year to those who celebrate. I'll let you all know when mine is coming up! =D
