Fear met Reality and said let's have some fun
I just finished the first chapter of The Lovely Bones and I feel as if I might throw up.
I picked up two books today from the Barnes and Noble sale section. One is, of course, The Lovely Bones and the other a book called Smashed.
I thought hey, I shall read something that does not have to do with shopping, fashion, cosmetics, kids, fluff, fluff, and more fluff. Plus, they are cheap.
In group I have learned many things about myself. How I lock away emotions and memories and keep them hidden from consciousness. It is conveinient and easy for my mind to wrap things up in a pretty package. Escaping into a world of fluff is fun and peace. Like going under water and skimming the bottom for as long as you can, coming up for just enough air to breath, and going back down again.
I will finish these books. I just had to vent before I went to bed.
