I've got 2 demos done now and posted on http://www.myspace.com/thefiresidewake. The tracks are 4am and Ecto Cooler.
Other than that, we played 2 shows this weekend with Invocation of Nehek, and Through the Eyes of the dead. Saturday, Into the Moat played as well, and their drummer is insanely tight. Total mind fuck.
I let Invocation, and Through the eyes of the dead stay at my house until shit hit the fan and they had to take off before someone got arrested. (long story).
It was sweet though cause the ION dudes gave me a free shirt for feeding them and putting them up for a few hours and letting them shower. They're all super nice dudes. They're probably gonna help us out with a show out in Conneticut when we go out on tour in early August. Any help is always appreciated. They said we could stay at their house too which will help SO MUCH.
Can't think of much else to say at the moment. I don't really care to either.
Do me a favor and check out those songs I posted on myspace. I've put a lot of time into them in the past few weeks. Probably around 80 hours or so.
I'll be rerecording and constantly working on the songs so check back frequnetly cause the mixing will change and the quality will only get better and better as time progresses. Thanks. Tell any of your friends about it that might like it.
