SO...things....

A'aight, here goes startin' Friddyeh.
The day was full of such stupidity that by the end of it my hands were quite literally itching to punch someone.  But then I want to It's Academic practice where it was much smarter and surprisingly quiet and I felt better.
Then the show - well before the show we had left the house to go, but I forgot my shoes so we had to go back for them.  The audience was, erm, 'dedicated' (meaning dinky) but the show itself went well.  So...yay!
Then we alls went to the diner and had funfun.  I had big ice cream.
And Nick asked me out.
Splee!  It was really cute - he  he sounded all nervous and he said he'd wanted to ask me out for a long time and it kind of sounded like he had practiced in front of a mirror before he came to see the show.  And he paid for my big ice cream.  I feel kind of bad though, cuz I couldn't actually go out with him this weekend cuz the people want my room clean by Wednesday so they can start working on it, but he knows what's going on so he's not upset or anything.
Oh yeah, fact I left out - after the show before we left for the diner Nick said that he wanted me to sit with him so we could talk since we hadn't talked much lately cuz we hardly saw each other.  I did NOT expect him to be sitting in a booth by himself, so then WE were sitting in a booth by ourselves, and everyone was calling us out like "Are you guys on a date?"  But luckily some more people showed up and sat with us and defused the awkwardness.
Yesterday morning I had another practice SAT, but I had music stuck in my head the whole time, so I had some difficulty.  Also I out the answers to section 4 in the bubbles for section 3, and vice versa, so I had to go back and fix it, which was irritating. The audience was...well, even MORE dedicated, but the show went well once again.  Less people went out to the diner, but we all sat together, unlike the night before when people were broken up into a coupla groups.  We joked around with the waiter and Edwin hit on him and he asked me something in Spanish when I wasn't paying attention, so I answered in Spanish and totally impressed him.  And the whole table of us did sugar shots (downing raw sugar packets) and had a lovely back-and-forth with Mike (the waiter) with the always-fun "Make the Waiter Feel Uncomfortable" game, and its buddy "Make the Kids You're Serving Snacks To Feel Uncomfortable" game, at which all parties were very good and we laughed a lot and had a fabbyfab time.
And people kept saying that Nick and I were going to get married someday and Jackie asked me if we were having a secret love affair and I said "Tch, no,"  mainly because my bro was two feet away and lord KNOWS what he's do if he found out in a public setting.  Plus my dad was there too, and I do NOT need that.

Good gravy, life is full of life.
