the tiredness has found me again
Hey, I've seen most of the 5 nominees for best picture this year and this is my current pick in the category:
I've seen Finding Neverland, Aviator, and Million Dollar Baby. My pick for best picture (thus far) is Million Dollar Baby (MDB), though Aviator is close. The reason is I found MDB developed its characters better. There was a serious emotional attachment that I just didn't feel as strongly about in the other movies. Based on story alone though, I did enjoy Aviator a little more. I believe as a constellation prize, Martin Scorsese will win best director... it's about time anyways, he definitely deserves one. Oh yeah, Finding Neverland was a snoozer. Cute, but boring. Maybe I need to see it again... years from now. I know that wasn't in depth, but I'm still collecting my thoughts and there are more movies to watch.
