BAD LIFEGUARD!
once again the lifeguard or whomever it is that controls the waves has decided NOT to flip the switch. it seems that there is some sort of rule against waves during summer. but my spirits are lifted because there seems to be a 3-6 ft sweel approaching this weekend. hopefully all will be well and i will get to ride some waves before i go insane. my wave withdrawl symptoms include: looking at surf pictures, reading surf magazines, watching surf movies, staring at my beautiful boards, and the occassional consumption of salt. so sad that all except the last one have been done in this almost 5 day dry spell. i must admit, however, that this summer is awesome compared to the eternal flatness that consumed south florida last year. that was honestly the closest i want to get to hell. sitting on the sand watching as nothing roles ashore. so flat that if bola had wanted to comb his long hair that the water would have served as an excellent mirror... not that bola has combed his hair since about the 5th grade. i hate him for being able to pull that off. anyway enough of my needless ramblings..... ok you can comment now.. go ahead...
