Right back to full speed. A great but not very productive weekend....
Friday night I went to Sally's Goth party... Once again, proof that given 20 minutes and the contents of my closet I can generate an appropriate costume for almost anything... Intoxicated Scrabble FTW!
Saturday I slept late, went to Sasha and Adins, discovered I could take 32 small children in a fight and then baked lemon squares and made jello shots. Adin's B-Day Party was fun, mostly people I don't know, so we played kings and got vomitously drunk. Then I went to the House of Man to wait for the Oberliners, who finally showed up at around 4am, got home around 6.
Slept really poorly until a little after noon, then went to all day playtime with the O!Circus. Fun, but they didn't really bring a lot of new skills as we'd hoped. Maybe one new balance, and a poi move I'd never seen but Matt can do... Some cute staff stuff, but that is irrelevant to my life. But Mooch and Margret and Sasha and Adin came and it was a huge playtime for hours and hours. the ASA meeting was crappy though. Then I made a desperate attempt to do my work - 18 pages of reading in an hour is a terrible sign. We went to dinner at Unos with the Oberlin people, it was fun, but we sat with Nora and Grey and they don't seem to talk much, well, Nora a little to Sasha, so it was mostly Adin and I being Loud and Silly. Funfun. I wonder if we scare them... probably, I'd be scared if I didn't know us. Then Fire. Always good times, but cold and we got a noise complaint really quickly, I did a crappy poi run to their overly slow music and a fan run that was pretty good considering it was in silence. Then I went home, finished my fem theory reading and went to sleep.
Basically way too tired to pay attention in class today, long nap this afternoon.
Do I want to stay in fem theory with Sasha or switch to Revolutionary America with Adin and Devin? (god I love John Adams, and David McCulloch is coming to chat with their class)
