hermit crabs saga
Rigel is lonely (apparently hermit crabs are very social animals).. and went looking for Hermie. So we went ot the pet shop and bought 2 more crabs - Midget and Faust (he was very fiesty). Midget has already changed shells. He likes brightly painted ones, so those expensive ones we bought to entice Hermie may get use!!
Morgan is happy as they were out and about today, as it was warmer. The two new crabs are slightly bigger than Rigel, so hopefully he will cope.
(it is harder to judge the size of a hermit crab than one thinks... the shell size does not really count, it is the opening... sometimes hard to tell when buying a new one!)
