Author’s Notes: I’m not sure exactly what Inuyasha would call Sesshoumaru when they were younger. Onii-san sounded about right, but then I don’t know any Japanese.

Son of a-
“Onii-san, look what I found!”
Sesshoumaru looked up from the book he was studying to see his little brother standing before him, a large, chubby puppy clutched in his eager hands. He sighed; this could only lead to one thing…
“Please, onii-san, can I keep him?”
He gave the pup an appraising look. “It’s a bitch, Inuyasha.”
The poor dog nearly fell to the floor as the young hanyou stared at his brother in disbelieving indignation. “That’s a horrible thing to say!”
Sesshoumaru sighed again, rubbing his temples in agitation. “A bitch is a term for a female dog.”
“Oh.” The boy hefted the puppy higher in his grasp as the thought over this revelation, and Sesshoumaru found himself hoping fervently that the little mutt was housebroken, or could at least keep enough control over his bladder until Inuyasha took her from Sesshoumaru’s rooms. He really didn’t want his room smelling like piss for the next week. “Onii-san?”
“What?”
“Your mother’s a dog demon, just like Father was, right?”
Frustrated, with just a hint of annoyed, “Yes, what of it?”
“Wouldn’t that make you a son of a bitch?”
