University seems to be going well so far, but atm i'm lonely as a hermit in my house since my housemate is out . so i'm feeling a bit homesick and shit. Yeah, I've met loads of lovely people, but living off-campus certainly has its own disadvantages. i think there should be a first year's social group for off-campus students or something. it's really difficult to make new friends when you keep having to travel into campus etc. my room's great, though, although i really out to get a decent chair for my back, as chairs with no cushioning hurt!! oh yes, one of the lecturers used a toy version of the doctor's sonic screwdriver to show the presence of this chemical in a sample of urine, and also involved George the Third of England and cheerios in an hour long lecture. Random but interesting!
