Alas, a new book
Normally I don't do this kind of thing, but might as well since I have an account!
I got this book in the mail a couple of days ago, but didn't get to open it until today. As some of you may already know, I hate Twilight. Not as intensely as I use to and I don't rave about how much I hate it as much anymore. Since I got a new book, parody book to be accurate, about a Twilight parody. I figured now would be an good time to remind you about my hate for the series. xD
I have to admit. I like the last paragraph on this synopsis.
"Complete with romance, danger, insufficient parental guardianship, creepy stalkerlike behavior, and a vampire prom, Nightlight is an uproarious tale of a vampire-obsessed girl, looking for love in all the wrong places."
Yes. That sentences is a run on... I'm pretty sure the author deliberately did that though. It's kind of hard to mess up a proper sentence.
Moving on. Some of humor is overplayed. That's to be expected though. Parodies go overboard from time to time. Aside from that, Belle is depicted accurately to that of the original series. It's entertaining to see her character more impulsive and less reserved for a change.
Right now I'm reading through it. Maybe I'll post a journal about the book overall. Maybe I wont. It all depends really. In either case, being that I'm easily amused. It will be fun! For me! If you want an honest, less shallow opinion of it. I'll let you know. I know only a few people live at my comedy standards. xD So yeah.
