if you had purchased $1,000 in Delta Airline stock one year ago, you would have $49 left.
With Enron, you would have $16.50 left from the original $1,000.
With WorldCom, you would have -$5.
But, if you purchased $1,000 worth of beer one year ago, drank it all, then turned the cans for the aluminum recycling refund, you would have $214.
Based on this information, the best current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.
