Ok so I got to watch boat trip with Cuba Gooding Jr. And the 2nd Lilo and Stitch Movie.. ooh the things I do at 2am to kill time. All I can say is Roselyn Sanchez is cute.
Oooh Oooh I discovered I have about 70 channels of cable for free in my hospital provided apartment, not just the typical 20 hospital room channels. Anyways, I was watching food network and I was watching the guy who does good eats, alton brown drive around on his BMW motorcycle, next week is sturgis btw. Anyways he's driving around going 100's of miles out of his way to eat food at road-side diners, mom & pop places, nothing national chain or anything. So he's eating soul food and I'm like WTH I want soul food I miss - mississippi. I NEVER said that, forget I typed it, but for a brief minute I did miss free food period.

Actually they were offering 7,000 dollar relocation bonuses to paramedics to move down south to LA.
"I used to have people waiting in line to get a job with us but now there's nobody," Guillot said. "Part of the problem is that we're competing in salary with places like McDonald's and Krispy Kreme. We have a starting salary of $10.56 an hour for an EMT and Burger King is paying people $12 to $14 and hour. We offer benefits but people aren't looking at benefits, they're looking at that hourly wage and they jumped all over those fast food jobs. "
I am very sure that 10.56 an hour beats the starting wage of 8.70 an hour for an EMT with AMR in seattle - although I'm sure the wage has gone up.
