sorry, i was thinking again....
so yea, sue was here at the firehouse, and i was thinking about something. stick with me, this may get confusing...
you know someone - but you know someone as someone. you hang out with them you, say, play paintball with them. you become friends with them. but the funny thing is that this person had things and people in their life that are still there. (obviously) this person has experienced things in their life that you may have no clue about - but they can teach you, or maybe they can't. maybe it's something that you have to experience to truly understand. you're friends with someone and so is someone else that you've never met - and maybe you will never meet them, but you'd probably get a long because you have this common friend.
i look at someone as whatever they give me too look at. if you present yourself as a fool, i'm probably not going to associate with you, even though you may be this really cool person. i mean someone likes you, right?
i came to this firehouse and met a lot of really great people. they all have friends outside of the firehouse (as do i) that most of us do not know. (if we did wouldn't they also be "firehouse friends?")
i'm kinda nosy and ask things that maybe i shouldn't because maybe they are inappropriate or mayeb they are obviously things that someone doesn't want to talk about. mostly i do it because i'm truly curious abotu someone or something in a person's life.
i don't really have a point to writing this. it just kinda popped into my head and wanted to write it down. i know i didn't get across what i wanted to, but that's okay. i usually don't.
in other news: chrissy's promotion is officially official. she's the new 5 o'clock producer. yay!!! i'm really proud of her. she's also the second most senior person there (and has been ther for just 2 years) I know that she's sad to be leving her weekend crew, but most of them are leaving the weekends anyway, so....
i'm sitting in the alarm room. there's been a ton of activity over the radio, but none of it has come shaker road's way. only 1 daytime call the entire week..... i'm worried.
