so i'm sitting in panera bread this afternoon (well, not actually in the bread itself), and that was one of the caitisms that arose. cait has this obsession with the comics (not that i don't also, mind you) and along with the comics comes the daily "super quiz." the first question was a reference to manchu pichu. not in and of itself worth the hilarity that insued in my opinion, but hey, who knows. so i'm sitting here tonight and cait brings up manchu pichu again - which is really strange because I'm also talking to a friend of mine that i haven't spoken to in a while and haven't seen in a very long time, mostly because she's been in ecuador. yes those of you that are good at geography can see where i'm going with this.... she says to me that she and i should get together sometime for coffee and i can see all the pictures that she took during her stay, including - you guessed it manchu pichu.
so i took the boston fd test like 4 months ago now, and i still haven't heard back, and i'm getting a little anxious. (of course, i havent' gotten the mail in like 3 days, so it could be very well sitting in the mailbox, but i doubt it....)
there is nothing but crap on tv these days.
have you ever said a word so much in a shoret span of time that it starts to sound strange? (it also works great when it's written down....)
a grasshopper walks into a bar, the bartender says "hey, we've got a drink named after you." the grasshopper says "why would you have a drink named melvin?"
