so, new years?

Dec 28, 2004 11:17

so i need something to do for new years. people are working, and there are no parites that i know of.... actually i think someone is having one that im'd me this morning, but i'm not sure. gotta double check. how come this happens every year? i always have plans for new year's and they fall through. every freeking year. it's gotten beyond frustrating.
so, christmas was good. got some cool stuff - poker chips (who didn't see that one coming?) a creme' brule set - with torch!!! (my favorite desert) and the best thing - (you all know what a sports nut i am, and college sports being my favorite) tickets to the east regional finals at the carrier dome in syracuse. winner goes to the final four. folks, there are only two tickets that i could ever recieve that could be better than ncaa basketball tournament tickets. Michigan/ohio state at the big house, and Michigan/any pac-10 school Rose Bowl tickets. that's it. that's the list. got some strange shit from the parents, too. but what else is new. at this point in my life, it's all about the giving, not the getting. (mostly because the getting from my folks is sometimes the strangest stuff in the world....) so we're getting down to the end of 2004. all in all, i must say an incredibly better year than 2003 was.

so i've got some questions for you all....
1. what was your favorite moment of the year? (personal or something that happened in the world, whatever you want to share....)
2. what ws your least favorite?
3. if you had one thing to do over again, what would it be?
4. complete this sentance: 'i couldn't have made it through 2004 without ____"
5. name one thing that you did in 2004 that you didn't think you'd ever do (good or bad)
6. "next year i'm going to ______"
7. which celebrity death shocked/saddened you the most?

some notabledeaths include but are not limited to - Ray Charles, johny ramone,Christopher Reeve, janet leigh, robert merrell, john barrymore, arthur haley, o.d.b., rodney dangerfield, elmer bernstein, Julia Child, faywray, isabel sanford, Marlon Brando, Ronald Regan, tony randall, alan king, estee lauder, Sir Alistair Cooke, Sir Peter Ustinov, paul winfield, joe viterelli, Jack Paar, ann miller, Uta Hagen, laura brannigan, reggie white, yasser arafat, jerry goldsmith, ken caminiti, Paul "Red" Adair, marge schott, spalding gray, bob keeshan, robert pastorelli, (as of today, susan sontag), Tug McGraw, and the superfreak himself, rick james - bitch. (if there is anyone on this list that you don't know, shame on you. google them and see. i bet if you take the time to do that, there are very few that you dodn't know as "that guy" or think "oh, i didn't know their name.")

that's all. have fun, see you later......
