Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas to all my very favorite LJ friends! hope you are full and content on this Christmas day. If not give me a call tomorrow and I will tell you funny stories until you feel better.
Four Christmas parties and two Christmases down for me. In a strange twist of fate, both my father and my stepdad managed to locate used KitchenAid standing mixers cheap/free, so my mom and I both got one. Mine is black, so I named it Alfred. Mom's is Ted, named after the food expert from Queer Eye for the Straight guy because it is a *fabulous* midnight blue.
The best present*, however, was a megadose of Doctor Who. I got one of those novelizations in my stocking (cute, quick read), then later, thanks to unusually fast download speeds, I was able to get the Christmas Special Bit Torrented in time to watch it tonight. My sister watched with me (and hugged her TARDIS the whole time). It was charming and funny, if predictable, though the endless camera spinning needs to stop. (My poor stomach). In any case, hurrah for witty British TV.
