Finals are done!
I finished my last final this afternoon, leaving me time to attend to a few chores I had been putting off. Most notably, I just washed every single item of clothing I possess. Seriously. All that was left in my closet was a business suit, a rain jacket, a blue tank top, and two bathing suits. I was actually washing the clothes dressed in a) a high slitted skirt entirely inappropriate to the unheated basement, and b) a bright green backpacking top.
To clarify, this top is not just bright green. No, that would be an understatement. This top is violently green. This is the sort of green that robs other greens at knifepoint in dark alleys, steals their clothes, and post naked pictures of them to facebook*. This green makes all other neon greens look like a drab olive in comparison.
I find it kind of outstounding that not only did some manufacturer manage to produce a dye this saturated, but that they then decided to use it to produce a solid long-sleeve top rather than as an accent color to make runners visible at night or something. No one can have any dignity in that shirt.
Moral: Sylvia needs to do laundry way, way more often.
*It is wanted by the police in 12 states
