Spain!
Congratulations are in order for me: I made it from the Madrid airport to my host family's house here in Granada, alone, carting all of my luggage, in one piece! That involved, by the way, walking at least a mile, taking two trains, one bus, two taxis, and what seemed like thousands of stairs. They do not believe in elevators here.
Minus the trip, though, everything is going great. My señora is a really sweet woman, who is willing to cook vegetarian for myself and my roommate. She thinks we are crazy, mind, and keeps offering us ham at every meal, but I have eaten well so far.
This not a real post, because I can only snatch a few moments of internet access at a time. Expect a better update around Mondayish.
