These were both taken from prompts in an Android writing app for Kindle Fire so the first isn't a true drabble but a 55 word story which was what the prompt called for.

Tommy put down his guitar, frustrated. He stared at the words on the paper. Why'd he tell Adam he'd do this? Yeah, he'd written music before but he'd never been good at doing it under pressure, and he'd never written pop. He would never admit that it was because he wanted more time with Adam.

The Trespassing Tour was finally starting. Six months on the road. Seven of them crammed onto one bus. As much as he liked his alone time, he was looking forward to this. He missed seeing his friends every day. He missed the closeness.
He missed Adam. It's not that he never saw him, he did. But he'd finally admitted to himself that there was more than friendship there and this tour would give him the chance to work up the courage to actually do something about it. To act on it. Tell Adam that he wasn't all that straight. Maybe.
