First of all I have to say congradulations to my friend Taiyyaba on getting engaged this weekend!

OK the basic break down. My painting class is hard. I suppose for someone who has never painted before I'm doing decently well. I had to start my project over, but I'm much happier with it now. Stats is so easy its boring, at least stephanie is in the class with me. Research Psyc is going to be hard. Learning is interesting but so far I already know everything. Finally my comparative politics class is totally awesome! I hear the tests will be hard, but the prof is so interesting.

I saw Josh, he told me I looked well and we chatted. Then I emailed him asking if he wanted to get lunch sometime. He told me I had gotten the wrong idea and that too much shit had gone down for us to be friends. He would talk to me if he saw me on campus or at a party, but we couldn't hang out even with other people. Frankly I was and still am to an extent hurt by this, but then I'm also relieve. Everything is clear, and he clearly doesn't want me. So now I can go live my life.

This past weekend I hung out with Emily and Jim mostly. We hung out at Gary's on Friday night and watched a weird movie where all the actors were men and many were dressed as women called Girls will be Girls. Then Saturday night I went clubbing at Legends in Raleigh. Now for you non chapel hill people Legends is a gay club. It was so much fun! Although I did come back smelling like cigarette smoke and strange mens' sweat, I didn't have to worry about sketchy men checking out my ass. Emily and I kept and eye on Jim who did have strange men checking out his ass. Emily and I agreed that many of the men had better make up than us and could move their hips better. I'm excited that Emily and I are rekindling our friendship even though she is leaving for London on Saturday. Then last night I went over to my friend Doug's. That was lots of fun. I met many new people, had a beer or two, and watched Kung Fu Hustle. We went swimming in the pool at their apartment complex. I had to borrow clothes, but it was still a great time! I'd like to hang out with them again. And to complete the weekend I've been hearing from Andrew (now thats a name you haven't heard in a while). His sister and mother are going to come visit next weekend and he will come visit sometime this month. It should be interesting. No, people don't have to worry because nothing will happen. Now its time to get some food and do laundry and homework!
Much love all!
