i'd forgotten how much i love to dance!!!
i had a freaking BLAST this weekend!! celebrating vega and frances' birthdays, they plus monson and meredith picked me up and we ventured down to new orleans to go eat at warehouse pizza, but apparently it closed 10 minutes before we got there. so instead, we hit harrah's!!! i'd never been, and dude, it is pretty damn cool. very open and airy (so no smoke problems). instead of eating at the $30 buffet, we had burgers, and then tried out the slots. we put in $5 and frances won some and i won some, so everyone had a turn to play and we got back the $5 we had put in. score! and we took pics in the bathroom because it had comfy couches :P
then we headed to bourbon street, after monson found a wonderful parking spot! we got the obligatory hand grenade, which we all ended up sharing, and walked up and down because we're cool like that. then we went in utopia, some dance club, and danced (duh) for awhile, which was awesome because i LOVE to dance. and there were some fun drunk canadians that we could laugh with/at. after we got tired of the rap, we headed to the frat house, just because we had never been there before, and yeah, it was kinda lame, but only because we got in there before they started charging, score for us!! then it got crowded, but of course, still had the rap... so we left after an hour or so and went to another bar that had a fun band playing 80s songs, which was apparently the theme of the night. man, i miss you guys!! had soo much fun :D
i'm excited because i don't have any tests this week and it's fall break!!! *dances*
