My boss went out on vacation, which means it's time for everything to go to ish... Only difference this time is that I'm in charge during her absence.
... Yet still, this is the 3rd time she goes out since I've been there, and we have a staff of 2, due to some freak reason. Last time, Brett runs his foot over with a lawn mower. This time, Heather gets strep throat
I did a 12 hour shift on my own yesterday, which sucked. Luckily, Brett came in and covered me for an hour break. I have to do the same for him today... even though this is all his fault. It wasn't too bad, considering the fact that my very first customer was a known shoplifter... oh, and I forgot how to count at the end of the night...
Overtime... it's a great motivator...
This past weekend was awesome. Friday, Jay was working a competition for 102.9 in New Hope, so I tagged along... I heard 4 different versions of "She's Some Kind of Wonderful"... which is a catchy song, but not one I want in my head for 3 days. He took me to Chicky & Pete's for dinner after, and then we went do the Bistro for (Meghan's) Jay's Birthday. His cake was awesome: a picture of Britney Spears, with the text "Happy Birthday Satan". The band that night (In Theory) could make girls booty dance to Manson... one of the funniest things I've seen in my life. You had to be there... They did 90's covers most of the night. The lead singer stuck the mic in my face once or twice (Due to somebody *CoughNicoleCough* pointing their finger over my head...). Always fun times with those people.
Saturday, I had to close, so not much happend there...
Sunday, went to Mom's... then "Tatooed Mom's" with Danielle.
Tonight, It's off to Dirty Franchesco's for quiz... after working for 1 hour... bleh...
