Since my last update, my head has gotten slightly better... Thanks to some really awesome times in my personal life this week.
Sunday, I made Jay watch "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason", after warning him about 50 times that he would hate it. I don't know what was funnier, the movie, or his face throughout most of it. He did think the 'Thailand mushroom' scene was funny. Then, we enjoyed a nutritious meal of Beer & wings.
Monday was my Mom Mom's birthday. She's not with us anymore, but I still like to send her shoutouts from down here. It was also the day of the Tori concert. Danielle gave Chrissy and I rings to match one of hers... as a symbol of our friendship- may no man cause a fight between us again. :-P The show itself was AWESOME. Our seats were far from as sucky as I thought they would be. The Kimmel Center is beautiful. Chrissy (my sister honneylove) has a set list posted for those interested. I started to tear up during "Baker Baker" as usual.
After the concert it was off to Dirty Franks for kareoke, beer, and "Sexy Bartender Sheila's birthday party"... If you've never been to Dirty Franks... please do go... and hopefully Miss S will be working, she's a sweetie! Jodi, her sister, is really awesome too. After swearing off kareoke for the rest of my life... after the Dimebag Darrell incident... I got up and joined a girl group. We did "Dreams" by Fleetwood Mac... fun times. I had the chance to do a second song with a group, but they were getting WAAAAYYY into the Cure song they were singing... so I ran away & hid.
Tuesday was a work day... It was Albert, Brett, and myself, so it was a pretty nice day. Jay and I went out with his work people afterwards. I loooove talking buisness with Kirk. Phil, and Kirk both helped get my head on straight about a situation I've been pretty high strung about. I'm still letting it affect me, but not to the degree it was. I did the right thing, others have shown their true colors... pressing on now. Mom also came home from KY!!! YAY!!!!!
Wednesday morning, my alarm clock didn't go off and I was a half hour late for work... It was an eh day overall... I got offered another job after helping a woman pick out an ice tub. Later, i went to quizzo (at Franks, yet again) and almost fell asleep on the table. We didn't win, but it was fun anyway...
