My mom got her surgery yesterday. They ending up doing the operation she was hoping for, and all was supposed to be dandy. Well... Now her liver count is starting to go back up, and they're sending her for tests tomorrow to see what's up with that. She was supposed to come home, but now we're unsure of when this is gonna happen. Oy vey...
I just want her home & better. :(
My niece has been a great sense of comic relief during all this.
She sticks her hand though my mom's bed & says "Sing 'Rock-a-bye Your Nana!"...
There's a nurse that wants to take her home & gives her candy & all that good stuff.
I taught her to say "Who's your buddy?"... someone else taught her: "Hook up the Nuggets!"
There's more... but you'd have to see it, to understand it.
