The tides have finally turned! Yipee, winter break is just a day away.

Also, I'm getting a dog!! Well, borrowing one anyway. My mom decided to pay the pet deposit on our apartment if we'll take care of Layla(originally my brother's dog) until summer to ease her allergies. So of course we said yes. It'll be fun having her around to play with.

Annnd the rats had a minor outbreak of mites, similar to lice/fleas, which was really gross and took a lot of scrubbing/bleach/baths/medication to get rid of. But they're gone now so that's good too. I love them more when they're not infested with creepy crawlies.

Lastly, I have an interview tomorrow! Which is much more exciting than any of the previously mentioned topics because I've been looking for a job since early November. And was getting dangerously low on funds. If I get it(which again would be totally awesome), I'd be working for the Human Rights Campaign fighting for LGBT rights. If you translate that into what I'll actually be doing, basically I'm going to be an annoying door to door person asking you to donate money, or standing at the street asking for a bit of your time... and money. Not the most fun job in the world, but really if you think about it I'll a) be getting lots of exercise, b) be working for and learning about a good cause that affects my personal lifestyle and c) have a friggin job already. Plus, the pay is good(the flyer said $12/hr but we'll see) and I get commissions.

And that concludes my random interval broadcast.
