hey assholes make sure you tune in for another edition of "sports quiz." it's not every day you get to hear me make an ass out of myself on the radio, just every monday. who knows what wacky hijinks will ensue. how many fcc violations will brad commit? will we finally get booted off the air because we don't know what we're doing and don't really play that much music? will anyone even hear it? these questions may or may not be answered tonight, on sports quiz. check your local listings, bitches.
furthermore, i am now proudly up to twelve credits in my fucked up registration. i still have no honors tutorial because, based on my objective observations, no one in the universe even begins to like me. goooo school. why must you go on sabbatical, dr. parente? who needs you more, godless china, the cia, or the humble lost sheep (me)? i may have long hair and disagree with you politically, but we've gotten along famously. i guess i'll just have to do the whole tutorial thang spring semester. calloo, callay, and all that rot.
i am currently reading jarhead: a marine's chronicle of the gulf war and other battles. it's the book the movie was based on, obviously, and it's a lot better than the movie. the author has no problem inviting you into the dark, depressing world of the marine corps. it's a truly frightening, but good book. should be required reading for all us liberal elitist sum'bitches. in a way, this was one great book to pick up after finishing the once and future king. next on the list is either the art of war, cosmos, or focault's pendulum, although i should probably read the book murdergeisha lent me first. hurrr.
in vic studies today we did this whole "slide lecture" thing where dr. casey showed us some victorian artwork. yeah yeah pre-raphaelites, blah blah charles dickens is a cold bastard, blah blah. same old song. anyway i really got a kick out of JMW Turner, though. Seeing as he's one of the most famous painters ever, i shouldn't say "hay check out his work if u havent lol". but i will anyway. if you google his ass you can find a cool digital museum type thing that has a few high res versions of his paintings. some are better than others, but the good ones are so good. apparently one sold for like a bajillion dollars in early april. so yeah, moral of the story: victorian art is either real cool, or blows hard.
time for me to go.
