Well, here I am. Athens. Come back for round 2. Things haven't changed too much since my departure a few months ago. Not as much of a change as New Orleans is going through right now... It'll soon be known as the Venice of the Gulf Coast (which I think is badass, though I guess losing your home and all your posessions doesn't really even out with it).
My classes are alright, so far. My Comparitive Lit teacher reminds me of Mr. Fleenor when he starts teaching Trancendentalism... she's like that all the time, though. I think I'm going to have to oforce my self to adjust, lest I put a gun to my head and make the adjustment a whole lot quicker. Also taking British Lit to 1600, a pretty cool class. Art History--enough said. The only really oddball I'm taking is Introduction to Religious Thought, a humanities-requirement referred to me by one of my new roommates. It's basically like philosophy from highschool but on steroids, driving a semi-, and about ten times more thought provoking (but just as easy, hehehehe).
What the hell are all of you up to? I realize I am in no position to make demands, but so many of you I have not spoken to in such a long time. Drop me a reply, an e-mail, a phone call, a carrier pidgeon note, anything you want.
