http://personalitycafe.com/cognitive-functions-9/dominant-tertiary-loops-common-personality-disorders-480/ I found an interesting article PersonalityCafe about how not having a developed auxilary function can lead to personality disorders. In other words, Extroverted types who only use their Extroverted functions, may be personality-disordered, and the same thing goes for Introverts who only use their Introverted functions. And with INFPs and ISTJs, if they lack their Ne and Te, and are only running on Fi and Si, they might develop avoidant personality disorder because they have been hurt by social interactions in the past, and now can't let go of the past and try something new because they lack their Ne and Te.
