So I have officially started up some classes again. YAY! I enrolled in a dressmaking course that I had been looking at for some time. It's one of those at home teach yourself type things. They send me course work I study at my pace and take exams but it's a start. So far I have made some decent progress in it. Not very far along but it has been very detailed so far. it's nice to be doing something and learning something that isn't strictly related to my job and is feeding the creative urges. Who knows maybe i will actually be able to start producing my own clothing.
Lately I have been itching to go traveling. I feel like there is still so much to see and I want to do it while I am young. Down side is not much in the funds area. Kinda hard to travel without the money to pay for it. I am trying to look into different inexpensive options. There may be a trip to Scotland in the planning stages. I just need to find someone that would be willing to go with me. I don't like to travel on my own. But I really want to get out and do something. So it's a toss up between Scotland planning or looking into a fall trip to Maine or Niagara Falls for a more relaxing retreat. I want to take the time to sit back and have a week to relax and unwind. Lately I have been able to get out to fun weekend trips but there's always so much to do and people to see i don't really relax and almost feel like I need a vacation from my vacations. I would love something to just escape and rejuvenate myself. It doesn't have to be anything glamorous. It could be as simple as a cabin in the woods so there's peace and quiet. I think with that criteria Scotland may not be the way to go but I have always wanted to see that. There could always be next year too. We'll see.
