Nah, I joke. Hello, LJ! How are you doing? Hey! That's great! Well...in the news, Houston was supposed to experience a HUGE windfall of snowfall! The result? Niech, nada, zzzzzzzzilch! (What is niech?) Anyway, what we got instead was a FFFFFF ton of ice! It effectively shut down the entire city.
Gulf Freeway (I-45). CLOSED. Katy Freeway (I-10 West). CLOSED. Southwest Freeway (US-59) CLOSED. Westpark Tollway CLOSED. South Freeway (SH-288) CLOSED. Sam Houston Tollway (Beltway 8) CLOSED. I'm not sure about Loop 610, that's what I jump on and ride all the way to Market Street, it was probably covered in ice as well. I got a text this morning from my supervisor, 'HOUSTON STAY HOME.' So naturally, I am... =^.-.^= There is still ice out there right now, I think; not sure. (Just as I was writing this, I heard this horrific long tire screeching outside, no crash thankfully.)
So, this was all around 7AM or so, about 10AM I went outside to snap some piccies. behind the cut.
Look at that mess! It almost got me on the way down!

UGH ANYWAY, ICICLES. LOOK AT 'EM.
