(no subject)
Woke up early this morning and spent most of the morning packing, as expected I was finished by about midday and my flight wasn't until 6pm, leaving me half the day to sit around and wait for the inevitable.
Flight went really well, left on time, got in on time and even got my baggage pretty quickly. Took the SkyBus into town and got a hotel transfer to somewhere near Chris' work, and walked to couple of blocks with my ~30kg of luggage to get the spare apartment keys. Cabbed it to the apt after that, taxi had the check engine light on which I thought was pretty lol.
Can't really unpack most of my stuff yet, as I don't have anywhere to put it, we don't even have a TV at the moment, so getting the laptop out was a must. I'd like to at least hang up some of the clothes I'll need for interviews, but don't have coat hangers... Going to be a big trip to Big W tomorrow for supplies, and hopefully organise some rental inspections as well, the sooner we get into a proper place the sooner I can bring my car up with the rest of my stuff in it.
