A friend of mine told me about this wonderful character called Snape in this kids book I would just love - never looked back. 6. Yes, definitely. I never imagined myself in a fandom - never quite understood how anyone could get that obsessed about anything. Well, 7 years on and still here. 7. I had my doubts last year before DH came out - but now, yes, it will last. JKR keeps dangling extras, fandom is as active as ever, and there;s still 3 movies to come. 8. I thinks it a brilliant thing. Anything that get people, especially kids, reading and writing stories can only be brilliant. 9. Yes, well, when I first read it I was a bit WTF - it seems so disjointed and ill-fitting with the book - just like an 'oh, lets tag this on to the end'. Now, still not too fond of it, but I understand why JKR put it in - we were never going to get Harry Potter: The College Years written by her, and things needed to be said. 10. That's a tricky one, I think probably yes, although like those you list, there will probably be times when they're 'trendy' to read and times when they're not. Anything that's made this much of an impact on so many people is bound to have some staying power.
