'so many paper cuts'
tonight, i just wanted to get some sleep. i am overtired and have a really bad headache. so, not being able to sleep because a bunch of guys on my floor were partying...i wasn't thrilled, but whatever, it's to be expected. kyle and josh put up with us when we party, so no big deal.
so i get to bed around 12:45/1, only to be waken up at 1:45 by insane yelling. I just lay in my bed for awhile, but it sounds like they are throwing something or wrestling. so i open my door to find the guys having a 'paper fight'. essentially, they found two extremely large garbage bags full of shredded paper. so, i go out. kyle and josh scream 'fresh meat!' and soon i am in the biggest and the first paper fight i have ever been in. including some of kyle's friends from ottawa who are visiting for the weekend, whom i had never met. it lasted until the don came and yelled at us, because we were really loud and demanded we clean the whole thing up in 10 minutes or else we were getting written up. so we keep fighting for a bit, then grab some garbage bags and a vacumn, cleaned the whole thing up in about 5 minutes.
the funny thing is that the shredded paper had this weird dust and it made the hall look incredibly foggy. plus paper was everywhere, in the light fixtures, the laundry room, the bathrooms, from one side of res to the other.
i needed a good laugh. i love the fact that i randomly got into a section with a bunch of guys, because things like this and the acting like gangsters & rapping Salt 'n' Pepa... so fun.
they are excited to meet my "baby boy" (their words) today...in less than 7 hours, thomas will be here.
other than that...
my weekend in philly was amazing. my mom and aunt surprised me, had a great talk with my dad, got to hang out with my brother and his girlfriend.
pam's birthday was this week. it was great. when apryl & jamie have their boyfriends here like every weekend, pam is my "date". i really enjoy spending time with her. we took pictures of random things tonight, it was great.
this next week is going to be insanely busy, fun. the week after is going to be such hard work, but fun at times. no one will be on campus practically, except jamie and i, and maybe some foreign exchange students. woo.
