So went to the zoo on Saturday. It was pretty awesome. The stingray exhibit was tonnes of fun. I love how some of the stingrays would nose up as you touched them, I think they really enjoyed getting petted. There was a white one in particular that was a total attention whore, and would go around in circles, I saw it go back when someone didn't pet it like it was saying "No, no, no, you don't understand, the point is you pet me. Now pet me damn it!"

Then we went in search for other animals, in particular the hippo. Saw most of them, I think we skiped EurAsia, which is a little sad, and I think mostly because I was a little late getting us out the door (Totally my fault, Amy and Caitlin arrived at like ten, and we didn't leave until about 12). Fortunately the metro pass discount got all four of us in the door for three dollars cheaper, and then we spent the three dollars on getting into the stingray exhibit. So that was cool. I kinda wanted to find a stuffed animal, but the zoo prices are just insane, so it didn't end up happening.

Got separated for awhile, twice. Once on my own when I wandered down a "Knowledge Trail" by the Canadian exhibits (Came out by the moose and didn't know where anyone else was.) and one by the Gorillas, when I was with Noah, which basically meant we sat on a bench and I leaned against him and said "wake me up when the others get here" there was a baby who seemed much more interested in us than the gorillas, which was kinda strange. And eventually we realized Caitlin and Amy weren't going to find us, as we started walking back in their direction we ran into Caitlin which meant it was much easier to find Amy. So it all worked out in the end.
After we came home Amy and Cait stayed the night, Noah and I went to the bbq (which is a little misleading as we never actually participated in the bbq, we showed up too late, and ended up just drinking and playing guitar hero) sorry to anyone I woke up when we got home, I suspect we were a lot louder than I thought coming in the door. (Sorry for those we woke up after too btw)

On sunday a bunch of us went to go see Inglorious Basterds with my dad. It was alright, not exactly what I thought it would be but I'm really hoping to see an amazing director's cut when it comes out on DVD.

Monday was just kinda dicking around.
Tuesday we woke up super early (Originally my alarm was set to quarter to five, but we changed it to quarter to seven so we could cuddle for a couple more hours, considering we had barely started nodding off when my alarm went off the first time, this was a bit of an indulgence) so I could get Noah to the bus station, I was a little nervous cause I thought I'd be late for work, I mended my pants on the subway home. When I got to work, it turns out I didn't work today. I had been looking at the wrong schedule. Fortunately it means I do get five days of work this week :) Unfortunately it meant I left the bus station an hour before I had to. Noah was alright, it was basically just waiting in line for that hour, so I don't feel too bad about it. Really it means I got to get home a little earlier and sleep. Mmm sleep.

After a week and a day of sleeping with my little green blanket and a sheet, I've had to break out my huge comforter, to ward of the cold in an empty bed :(
Oh well, what can you do?
