I am looking for a Mal/Simon fic that i read years ago. It was a very long multi chapter fic(s)
It is very angsty and has a side pairing of Kaylee/Jayne.
These are some of the things i remember.
1) It starts with Simon and Kaylee breaking up and Mal gets all protective of Kaylee when he thinks she is upset over it.
2) Simon needs some medical supplies and doesn't want to ask Mal so goes off to do some doctoring at a whore house. Mal thinks he is selling himself and gets violent with him almost strangling him.
3) Zoe is pregnant, i think she ends up having twins, only Zoe and Simon know at first.
4) I think that it may have been in a sequel but Mal and Simon are having an argument and Simon ends up cutting his finger and all the crew know that it will end up in sex.
5) It turns out that Simon was experimented on as well and he switches to an assassin like person???
6) River can hear Wash and this comforts Zoe a little.
7) Kaylee and Jayne get together and have a really cute relationship.
