My Recent Adventure with a n00b
Warning: Long, rambling, I'm a bad person, it's not really all that funny... Oh well. XD I was amused! This is mostly for Ashley's sake, too, so she can snicker wickedly to herself.
So, I've decided that I'm not allowed to talk to n00bs anymore. I get mean, and then I have to deal with them (I'm such a bad person... ^.^0)...
The newb in question? "super rinison" or something like that. Ugly neon green costume. Ugh, too Joker-esque. The name of his new supergroup, which he's spamming broadcast about, is "freedom city deffenders" (exactly as it appears, no shitting you). And when I say spamming, I mean, constantly "so anyone want to join my sg" and "plz join my sg" etc, etc, etc... Incessantly. I'm not the only one making fun of him for it, either. The conversation went like this for a little bit:
Him: plz join
Person1: Join what?
Him: the sg
Person2: Oh, there's a SG?
Him: my sg
Person3: You have a SG?!?!?!?! OMG!!!!111one11
And so on and so on. So I said in broadcast that I'd outgrown the n00b stage long ago enough that I couldn't allow myself to be part of a SG that couldn't even spell its own name right.
Then he goes, in broadcast, "your not even funy" to which I responded, "You're right. That was more "meen" than "funy"." Then he says "im going to slap you". I replied, "Go to it, bucko." So he literally followed me around for half an hour -- no exageration! -- and continued to use the slap emote. I didn't have headphones or sound on so I couldn't even care less -- I was leveling and getting missions and stuff like that. He kept asking me if I wanted to settle this in the arena. I replied, at first, "Nah, you're not worth my time." and then proceeded to ignore his badgerings about me being weak and scared and stuff like that.
Finally, of course, I get an indoor mission and get around to doing it -- which he couldn't follow me in to. So what does he do? Sends me a tell (a private message). And I typed these exactly as he typed them.
Him: you are waek you don't even accept a mach in the arena
Me: "Weak"
Me "Match"
Him: idiot i am just ignoring you I don't care how bad my spelling is! JERK! who cares about spelling
Me: Obviously not you.
Him: so I don't care JERK
Me: You're doing a WONDERFUL job of ignoring me, by the way. Keep it up.
Him: I don't care now I start ignoring you
Me: I'm still waiting for it. Maybe you'll get it when you start to spell things correctly. ^.^
So he ignored me...
... for all of 5 minutes. Then he sends me another tell -- "im through ignoring you so let the insults start looser" -- though by this point in time I'm getting a bit sick of bantering with him. So what do I do? I just start replying to him, not with retorts, just with corrections. So I responded to him "Loser." He got really pissed and degenerated into "bleep"s (which means he was swearing at me) and bad names. FINALLY he said he was going and he actually DID.
I said it'd be both a miracle and a blessing.
Ten minutes later, he sends me a tell from a different name. Now, it's old and I'm not amused anymore, so I just put him on ignore.
So... the moral of the story is I probably made some poor ten year old cry or threatened his masculinity or something like that. -I- found it hilarious until it started getting old... which means I shouldn't be allowed to play with n00bs anymore. I get mean. Just ask Ashley or Rina about the "My sister's dead, dude" incident. That was really amusing... I can't help it. n00bs should be shot.
