stop and smell the roses..
My rose bush is blooming! I have two little buds poking their heads out of the stalk, and my dirt patch has become my green growing patch. However, some retard-driver douchehead drove through the strip and around the tree. Luckily avoiding the giant tree and the hedges and the building but seriously. So now there are two plowed lines through the side/middle of my garden. :(
I had hoped the plants would prevail, but it looks like I'm going to have to re-seed or even bite the bullet and buy some grown plants and stick them in. I'm going to have to figure out how to do it so its not still obvious there are TWO GIANT TIRE TRACKS in the MIDDLE of the yard. ugh. People cannot drive correctly down here. You dont even know how many accidents we've seen on this corner. unbelievable.

We got a dog! He is so cute, a rescued mutt who is part rott, part lab, part ? maybe chow? He has a spotted blue tongue and the blue tongue is a chow feature. He is about 5-7 years old, not sure because he was found as a stray. But sure calm, never barks at people or other animals. he is pretty good on a leash, but his foster mom walked him and the other dogs she had off-leash. So he doesnt zoom around pulling and yanking, he does will go forward and then fall back smelling everything in sight. We named him Alpha - he is our first dog - and I like it even though some people think its cheesy. Well, I think your mom's cheesy. ha.
